MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Teen center members receive access to over 1,400 hours of drop-in activities at the teen center, which includes full access to all of the teen center amenities like pool and air hockey tables, computers, video games, and movies - just to name a few. And while teens are welcome to come to 49lake during drop-in hours and do their own thing, staff will be leading a wide-range of drop-in activities each day where teens can unleash their inner rock star with Rock Band, learn how to make just about anything with duct tape, and flex their mental muscles with trivia nights.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All 6th-12th graders living in Oak Park are eligible for membership. Teens that live outside of Oak Park or Oak Park teens without memberships are welcome to come to the teen center as a guest with a member for $3/visit. All teens are welcome to register for classes and trips based out of 49lake (although non-residents may pay a higher fee) and can come to park district teen events, assuming they meet the age requirements.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Admission to 49lake as a member (unlimited access for only $25/year - Sept-Aug) requires a member photo ID card. This card is the same one that the Park District of Oak Park uses for ice rink and swimming pool season passes. If a teen already has this ID, a new one is not necessary. To activate a membership, a parent or guardian (and teens, if this is a new ID), must visit the Park District's main office at 218 Madison St or Ridgeland Common at 415 Lake St to fill out the appropriate paperwork (and have a photo taken for a new ID). Once the teen center has officially opened, in-person registrations will be accepted on-site as well.

After this registration has been processed, the new teen center member will receive some forms and information in the mail that parents must sign and return to the teen center. Teens will be allowed access to 49lake for up to 2 weeks after registration without the completed forms, but after that point, teens will be denied until the forms are submitted to teen center staff.

Although we have done our best to make teen center membership as affordable as possible, scholarships are available. Please contact April Armer at (708) 725-2101 for more info.
